Almost the last 08 swim trip

Mom and dad took me to the pool the other day…I’m practicing to beat some Michael Phelps guy…IDK We thought because the weather was so nice the previous week and all that day the water would be a nice refreshing trip…so off we went. The sign said the water temp was 76 but I can’t read numbers at all. It was really fun, but after awhile my laughing turned to chattering, so we had to go home. Not to fear…mommy and I are headed to Myrtle Beach next week. I hear their water is warmer. I’ll let you know!

Turning over a new…

Me…that’s right I’ve learned to turn over from my back to my tummy. Still need a little help getting back over though. I got my pictures made this past Sunday (mom and dad have taken well over 1000, but we went to the pros for this one). Mommy said she’s going to start helping me type, so you should be hearing more from me soon!!!

PS: I think i can swim faster than that Michael Phelps. He’ll have to wait till the 2024 olympics to find out though….I know I look a lot older, but I’m not sure if even China could pass me off as 16.

I know my feet, but what is football

I remember watching some Hockey during the early days of my life, and now dad is trying to introduce something called football into my sphere of sports knowledge. He says it’s really important this year because only 1 ACC team is in the top 25; that would be Clemson. I like their mascot and colors so it should be a fun thing to watch. Grandpa Daniel bought me an outfit that has a Gamecock on it, not sure what type of animal that is, but we seem to mainly use it as a spit-up rag…pictures coming soon!

Traveling Fool

Off to SC to visit the family. Man the car ride is long, good thing I like to sleep. I’ll let everyone know how it goes once I come back. Keep praying for dad, he’ll miss me a lot.

Date Night

I know, most of you think I’m too young to date….but you just don’t know how cute I am. I’ve already gotten several proposals. For now, I’ll just date this guy, he really knows how to treat a girl. I tried really hard to stay awake for our entire night, but didn’t quite make it….he had to eat the milkshake all by himself.

I’m in the middle of a growth spurt…so you know what that means. It took me at least an hour to find something to wear for tonight. I ended up in a nice pink onesie with some ruffles on my bottom. My hair is getting a little longer, still not long enough to style though. I think I was cute…he said I was adorable.

Still Here & Growing

haven’t been able to update you all in a while, but I’m here and getting bigger every day. I’ll send up some pictures soon. Here’s a look at my first 4th of July.

  • Went to Three Rivers Regata in the burgh watched some really fast boats
  • Saw a really tall man on stilts get caught in the rain
  • went to my first concert…Soul Asylum (they were okay, but not memorable)
  • slept through the fireworks
  • went to the lake after church sunday!
  • had date night with dad tonight…love monday date nights especially the ice cream

Here’s my lake video…make sure to check it out

Some New Pics

Here’s a few from my trip into the burgh

Oh, What a Night

I’m not sure what I’ve done, but Mommy and Daddy have been really happy with me the past few mornings. I just decided to sleep a little longer than normal because all the traveling made me tired. I’m starting to like my bed a little better now, still prefer to sleep in daddy’s arms though. Oh well, it’s bath time and then some more sleeping! I owe you all some pics, don’t worry, I’ll get them up soon…I’ve grown since you last saw me.

I miss my daddy

So I’m coming home! Enough said!

Met a boy crazy for me!

I know, I know! your saying what…she’s only a month old. Anyways, what other 1 month olds do you know who can type and keep  her own blog up? Tonight I got to meet Emerson, the only problem is he lives in SC. But, who knows what the future will hold. Tonight I’ll sleep peacefully knowing someone greater than Emerson and I are in control of our days and has great futures for us.

“Now that is the wisdom of a man, in every instance of his labor, to hitch his wagon to a star, and see his chore done by the gods themselves. That is the way we are strong, by borrowing the might of the elements. The forces of steam, gravity, galvanism, light, magnets, wind, fire, serve us day by day and cost us nothing.”

- Ralph Waldo Emerson, “Civilization,” Society and Solitude (1870).
